Rab naturist guide (part of Croatia Naturally web site)

Sahara naturist beach, Island of Rab
(sent on Sep 22, 2000)

Submitted by: visitor from Poland

Name of the beach: Sahara
Location of the beach: Lopar, island of Rab
How to get there: There are signs to the beach - although it is best to take a car and leave it in a forest. There is approx. 20 minutes walk (very beautiful) to the beach. The beach is shown on all maps of Lopar.

Take a look at Sahara beach, the map of the island of Rab or the map of the Lopar peninsula.

Facilities at the beach
Shower Toilete Restaurant Bar Water sports Sports Water
no no no no no no no

Mark: 4 (1-lowest, 5-highest)

Description:

This is one of the most beautiful beaches I have seen. There is a beautiful sand, shallow see and nice rocks on the sides. The remote location of the beach means, that there are very few people there. There are nice hills above the beach with a beautiful view. There are no facilities, but I believe that they would only spoil the 'wilderness' of this place.

Thanks visitor for this report.
