 The
spacious sports and recreational center at lake
Jarun is an oasis of peace and nature in the heart
of city life. The recreational activities are
organized around a 2250 meter long regatta course
where international rowing and canoeing races
take place. Surrounding the course is a soccerfield,
basketball and beach volley courts, a miniature
golf course, a running track, a bicycle course,
a bocce court and other sport facilities. The
two Jarun lakes with 2,500 meters of pebble beaches
can accommodate almost 20,000 swimmers. During
the summer, the center is open from early morning
until late night hours when the nightlife begins
in night clubs, restaurants and coffee bars.
Jarun is easily accessible from the city center
by public transport, taxi or rented car. Tram

Official naturist pebble beach is located
on the southern side of the Jarun lake. The beach
is about 200 meters long and it is equipped with
chemical toilettes. Also medical assistance and
lifeguards are available. Showers and cafe bars
are located on the neighboring textile beach and
one has to wear swimsuit to use it.
