Premantura beaches Map

Kamenjak with Premantura in the backPremantura is a picturesque town with 450 residents, located in Istria's far south, 10km from Pula. The long, narrow peninsula of Kamenjak gives Premantura its most recognizable characteristic. This peninsula is 9.5 km long and as wide as 1.5 km. Kamenjak is encompassed by a 30 km coastline dotted with small islands and numerous coves and miniature beaches, many of them clothing optional. Not so long ago locals used these islets for cow grazing. Even today you can see a cow now or then on one of the islets, so don't be surprised if you see a cow swimming.
Rocky beach absolutely untouched with cliffs vertically on the sea in one side and pebbles on the other side. The place is ideal to those that enjoy loneliness, nudism, diving, fishing, trekking and mountain-bike. The coast is almost completely clothes free and you can even enjoy some nude walking.
Kamenjak was proclaimed a protected park of nature due to its natural rarities and the entrance is charged about 2 EUR.
In the area there are numerous hotels, campings and private accommodation.
