We have many positive impressions about the places we've visted. I have taken these photos in August, in the high tourist season, and despite this we have found many solitary places. The sea is fabulous!!!
Le note positive dei posti che ho visitato sono tante, le foto le ho scattate in Agosto e quindi in piena stagione turistica, e nonostante questo abbiamo trovato molti luoghi solitari. Il mare è favoloso!!!

Losinj Island

Island of Losinj is one of the most beautiful places we've visited in the Kvarner Bay. Many nice beaches, some of them accessible by foot or by bike.
L'isola di Lussino, è uno dei posti più belli che ho visitato del Quarnaro, molti gli accessi al mare; se gli spostamenti avvenissero in moto ancora meglio.

Cres Island:

Valun (Island of Cres): Wonderful and wild!

15 km from the town of Osor, on the island of Cres, we have found naturist camping Baldarin. It is a beautiful place inside of a pine woods and surrounded by a clear sea. There is just one tough road to get there, but it is nice to drive trough and you can often see a roebuck family crossing that road. Osor is very unusual with its statues of the musicians and it is completely built in stone. Exploring the island of Cres and near islands is best done with a boat, because some of the places by the sea have difficult approach from the land and there is also a problem with parking your car.
A 15km da Osor, sull'isola di Cres, troviamo il campeggio naturista Baldarin, molto carino per come è disposto dentro una pineta, e circondato da un mare limpidissimo, vi si arriva da una unica strada, e di difficile scambio, però percorrerla è piacevole e capita spesso di trovarsi di fronte una famiglia di caprioli che attraversa la strada. Osor è molto singolare con le sue statue dei musici e completamente edificata in pietra. L'isola Di Cres e le isole vicine dovrò farle in barche, in quanto ci sono difficoltà per gli accessi al mare ed anche di parcheggio per gli autoveicoli.

Pag Island: Truly special places!

A very pleasant discovery has been the island of Pag, with its diversity of vegetation between East and West coast of the island. If you are arriving down the coast from Rijeka there is a short ferry ride to Pag which landscape, from the ferry, reminded us on the Moon surface. Completely different is the opposite side of the island, covered with Mediterranean vegetation. On the north side I was impressed by some old grand olive trees growing up side by side to those huge rocks; tough here there aren't many ways to reach the sea, we can rent a boat and have a little tour, wonderful!!! Mi sono spostato da piccolo Lussino all'isola di Pag, per andare senza fretta alla scoperta dei laghi di Plitvice, la scoperta molto piacevole è stata l'isola di Pag, con la sua diversità di vegetazione tra Est e Ovest. Scendendo la costa da Fiume si sale sul traghetto per una breve traversata ed il paesaggio che ci appare è lunare, tutt'altra cosa dalla parte opposta, ricoperta di macchia mediterranea, ed a nord quello che mi ha colpito di più, grandi ulivi secolari in mezzo a dei grossi massi, in questa zona non ci sono molti accessi al mare, però possiamo affittare una barca e farci un giro, stupendo!!!

Plitvice Lakes:

Plitvice Lakes don't need comments - the photos say everything about their beauty. If you think about going there, you'll need to take some food with you, because food is quite expensive in that zone - prices are Piazza Signoria in Florence style. Laghi di Plitvice - i laghi non hanno bisogno di commenti, le foto dicono tutto sulla sua bellezza (se pensate di arrivarci organizzatevi per tempo, almeno per il mangiare perchè in quella zona praticano i prezzi di Piazza Signoria a Firenze).

Rovinj:

And finally here is a photo from Rovinj in Istria, if someone wants to sail around on a galley!!
Tra le foto vi ho messo una foto scattata a Rovigno, se qualcuno volesse fare un giro su di un galeone!!
